BRAVE HEARTS IDAHO FOUNDERS

JIM AND NOREEN KERN

JIM served in the U.S Navy from 1958 to 1962 and is a Vietnam Era Veteran. Being a Veteran, he is keenly aware of the challenges Veterans face every day. Because of this JIM and his wife, NOREEN, founded the BRAVE HEARTS IDAHO FOUNDATION. Brave Hearts is a 501(c)3 corporation which was founded in 2008 and is registered with the Idaho Secretary of State. Our Mission Statement is “to assist all Idaho Veterans in critical need” and to keep them falling through the cracks.

BRAVE HEARTS IDAHO VICE CHAIRMAN

TYLER WIXOM

TYLER is a born and raised Caldwell, Idaho resident. He is the owner of American Music USA, a local musical instrumental store. He is a full-time music instructor and Director of Music for Breath of Life Fellowship. Tyler is proficient in technology and heads up the Brave Hearts communication division.

BRAVE HEARTS IDAHO VICE CHAIRMAN

JERRY HANSEN

JERRY was born in Billings, Montana and raised in Lavina, Montana. After enlisting in the United States Marine Corp, Jerry was assigned to Artillery 1st Howitzer Battery - 3rd Marine Division. Wounded in Vietnam 1968, He received a Medical Discharge in 1968, and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. After the service, he worked ranch jobs and on drill rigs in gas and oil in the United States, Ireland, Thailand, Angola, Egypt and Haiti. Jerry worked with the Bureau of Reclamation drill crews before retiring.
