Jim served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1961 and is a Vietnam-era Veteran. Being a Veteran, he was aware of the challenges Veterans face every day which caused Jim and Noreen to found the Brave Hearts Foundation, a 501 (c)3, in 2008. The Mission Statement of Brave Hearts is “to assist all Idaho Veterans in critical need” and to keep them from falling through the cracks.
